The Department of Community Development administrates land-use regulations, prepares long-range plans to guide the orderly growth of the City, administers housing programs, and provides support for economic development efforts. The building/zoning division enforces building and zoning regulations and numerous miscellaneous building and land-use regulations protecting the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens.
