Cotton Grove Fire Station

Constructed in 1964 as a replacement facility this station protects the rapidly expanding southern portions of Lexington. The Cotton Grove station district covers over half of the city limits and is home to Lexington’s busiest fire company, Engine-182. Included in the first due territory are a variety of single and multi family occupancies, shopping centers, industrial parks, Lexington Memorial Hospital and the Davidson County Airport. The Interstate 85 corridor also runs through the district. The station also houses Engine-282 an unmanned reserve truck.
