Garage

The Garage performs the administrative, supervisory, and technical work in maintenance and repair of City-owned construction equipment, vehicles and specialized power equipment and tools.
The division is responsible for the maintenance and ongoing repair of roughly 600 vehicles and pieces of equipment, of which about half are rolling fleet.

To provide prompt maintenance services, the garage stocks varius parts. This inventory includes general parts, tires and tubes, and fuel and lubricants. The primary responsibilities of the garage include record keeping, servicing of equipment, welding and fabricating, central supply, and operation of the City's central fuel station.
