Lexington Aquatic ParkHave you heard the 'buzz' about the "Re-creation of Recreation" master plan? Lexington City Council and City Manager Alan Carson embraced the vision to completely revamp recreational facilities. The four-project plan is halfway through completion.

Lexington Aquatic Park, formerly known as Hillside Pool, is a competition-size swimming pool and pool house with ADA accessibility for citizens to enjoy.

The renovation of
Washington Park includes a 4000 sq. ft. sprayground and updated facilities and amenities.

Plans are in progress to convert
Radcliffe Park into a Skate/BMX Park. The design has been completed and construction is slated to begin soon.

A new youth recreation center, recommended in four different studies, will be the final project of the "re-creation of recreation."

Check out the progress made so far on the Skate/BMX Park, and stay tune for more updates!
