As of Tuesday morning, Lexington Utilities has power restored to all but 75 customers (out of 22k in our service area) after experiencing a state of emergency with 50% outage Friday morning. For those customers still inconvenienced, we apologize but results are slower with individual service line work. IF YOU REMAIN WITHOUT POWER, PLEASE CALL 243-2489 or 248-2337. If tree damage has pulled the meter base from your house, please contact an electrician to reset the meter and it will have to be inspected before power can be restored. If a tree is in the road, please contact the City if in the city limits and contact NCDOT if outside the city limits.
To report a problem with your Lexington Utilities electric service, please contact the Electric Department. For after hour emergencies, please call our emergency dispatchers at 336-248-2337.
