As of Monday morning, Lexington Utilities has power restored to 98% of service area after experiencing a state of emergency with 50% outage Friday morning. Crews are addressing approximately 500 (out of 22k) without power which should be lowered significantly by Monday evening - results are slower with individual tap line work. IF YOU REMAIN WITHOUT POWER, PLEASE CALL 243-2489 or 248-2337. Please understand call volume remains high and may result in multiple attempts. We recognize the continued inconvenience and thank you for your patience while crews work tirelessly across Davidson County to get 100% power restored. If tree damage has pulled the meter base from your house, please contact an electrician to reset the meter and it will have to be inspected before power can be restored. If a tree is in the road, please contact the City if in the city limits and contact NCDOT if outside the city limits.
To schedule a Fire Prevention inspection for your business with the Lexington Fire Department, please contact the City Fire Marshal.
