Multicultural Festival - First Saturday in May

The Multicultural Festival is held on the first Saturday in May from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The day is filled with the sights, sounds and tastes of foreign lands, and offers a wonderful and educational outing for the entire family! The event showcases cultural diversity through elaborate costumes, musical instruments, exhibits and entertainment.

Fantastic 4th Celebration - July 4

Every July 4th, people travel from all over the region to attend the Fantastic 4th Celebration at the Davidson County Fairgrounds and watch the fireworks in Lexington!  Thousands enjoy our patriotic celebration and make it a part of their family "4th" tradition. The event offers amusements, music, concessions and activities for adults and kids of all ages. Admission is FREE and concessions and amusements are available for purchase. Lauren Light put on a great performance in 2017, and the highlight of the festival each year is the evening fireworks display!
