Lexington Fire Department's Shift Commanders play significant roles in achieving the command and operational mission of the department. Each assistant chief coordinates one of the administrative divisions and manages one platoon in the operations division.  

 

Paul JarrettCommander Paul Jarrett

Paul Jarrett has been employed with the Lexington Fire Department since 1988. He has served through the ranks as firefighter, engineer, company officer and shift commander. Paul has an Associate's Applied Science degree from Guilford Technical Community College in Fire Protection Technology. He has also earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Fire Department Administration from Fayetteville State University. Paul is the Fire Shift Commander in charge of the Training Division.

 

 

Commander Jon-David Everhart J.D.Everhart

JD Everhart has been employed with the Lexington Fire Department since 2002. He has held the positions of firefighter, fire company engineer and fire marshal. He was promoted to fire shift commander in 2018. JD is a Level III Fire and Life Safety Educator, Certified Fire Investigator and is currently pursuing his BS in Fire and Emergency Services Administration. He has completed his Associate Applied Science Degree in Fire Protection Technology. He is also a member of the NC Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators.

 


Commander Jeff WorleyCommander Jeff Worley

Jeff Worley has been employed with the Lexington Fire Department since 1986.  He has served through the ranks as firefighter, engineer, company officer and shift commander.  Jeff has an Associate's Applied Science degree from Davidson County Community College in Fire Protection Technology.  Jeff is the Fire Shift Commander in charge of the Human Services Division.
