Why do I have to pay a deposit?
Our deposits are based on your credit status.

How much will it cost to have my lights turned on?
Our deposits vary according to services needed and individual credit status. Deposits range from $0 to $430.

What do I need to do to get an area light?
How much does it cost?
Sign up for an area light in Customer Service and pick up a flag to show where you want the light to go. Regular area lights are $6.89 a month plus tax.

Why do I have to have an inspection? What do they inspect for?
The City of Lexingon requires an inspection after each change of occupancy; they inspect for such things as smoke alarms, ground fault receptacles and open gas lines in the house.

How long will it take to have my power turned on?
We can usually do same-day service on existing residences as long as the request is made before 3pm.

Why do I have to pay sanitation fees on an empty house?
If your utilities are on you are required to pay for sanitation.

Can someone sign for me, so I don't have to pay a deposit?
Yes, we accept guarantors on accounts.

Why do I have a $25 fee on my account?
If your account shows up on the disconnect list or you miss a pay-arrangement your account is charged a $25 fee.

What are the reconnect fees?
$25 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
$80 - 5 p.m. to 8 a.m.
